Seeking a Field Supervisor for a busy restoration company.
Tristate Fire Water Smoke is a family owned and operated restoration business that specializes in all aspects of fire, water and smoke damage. We are currently seeking a Field Supervisor to manage and complete jobs according to our processes and standards. The field supervisor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Respond to service calls
- Coordinate expected job requirements with the crew
- Complete proper job documentation, photos and measurements
- Perform and supervise work tasks with crew, and monitor from start to finish
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site.
- Answer homeowner questions and explain processes in an efficient way
Responsibilities:
Communicate clear expectations to the crew and supervise their activities to ensure jobs are being completed properly
Resolve problems quickly as they arise
Manage job documentation to ensure complete and accurate details
Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly. Keep proper inventory list of all equipment and job materials
Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and warehouse as needed
Qualifications:
Effective written and oral communication
Experience in restoration preferred
High school diploma/GE
Must have a clean and valid license
Ability to travel out of state as all work is in Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan and NJ
Ability to work 10 hour work days at a minimum
Alternating Saturday’s are a must
Bilingual Spanish a plus
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Exposure to chemicals
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, and climbing
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Ability to work in construction sites
Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
