Position Summary:
The job of a Warehouse Worker requires skill, efficiency, and physical ability. This is a specialized job wherein under the direction of a department manager or team lead, employees perform a variety of duties such as receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, and organizing materials in a safe and orderly fashion. The warehouse worker position also requires excellent documentation skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions with proficiency. Warehouse workers are required to complete an on-the-job safety training prior to performing assigned duties.
Skill Requirements Must-Have:
· Lifting 50 lbs.
· Inventory management
· Documentation skills
· Familiarity with safety training for equipment like box cutters, step ladders, rolling carts, shrink wrapping, and pallet jacks.
Preferred:
· Team player with good coordination skills
· Time management abilities
Responsibilities:
Staff will be responsible for boxing, labeling, sorting, and palletizing the all test materials (i.e. used/unused answer sheets and essays) within the Resolutions Archive area.
Become familiar with documentation and reporting missing or additional documents to supervising manager.
Understand the hazards and precautions performing tasks with equipment: box cutters, step ladders, proper lifting, rolling carts, shrink wrapping, pallet jacks and if applicable a forklift operator.
Other Requirements (Specialized skill sets, behavioral/technical):
Should be physically fit and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Should have the ability to competently and effectively manage time and complete assigned work.
Should be a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers.
Should be compliant with all safety regulations and the ability to use warehouse machinery.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Attire should be a casual, i.e. t-shirt or button-up/collared shirt (polo shirt), jeans, sneakers/work boots.
Shift - Monday to Friday - 8am to 4:30pm
