Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise while ensuring the utmost safety and efficiency in the workplace.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse or production area.
Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for forklift operation.
Conduct pre-use inspections of the forklift and report any issues.
Material Handling:
Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with warehouse and production team members to fulfill orders and maintain workflow.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth operation.
Qualifications:
Forklift certification
Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Bilingual [ENGLISH/SPANISH]
Knowledge of safety protocols and practices.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate a forklift for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
