Location: Matawan, New Jersey.

Employment Type: Part-time/Full-time

Job Summary:

Located in NJ, we are a new company to deliver employees nationally and internationally. Over time, office locations, specialty practice areas, and service offerings will be added to fulfill the demand of our clients.

As an NJ Employment Agency Agent, you will play a crucial role in connecting job seekers with suitable employment opportunities and assisting employers in finding qualified candidates. You will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, including job placement, interviewing applicants, assessing their skills, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping individuals find meaningful employment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct intake interviews with job seekers to understand their skills, qualifications, and employment preferences.

2. Collaborate with employers to identify their staffing needs and job requirements.

3. Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, online platforms, and networking events.

4. Screen and assess applicants to determine their suitability for specific job openings.

5. Coordinate interviews between employers and applicants, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.

6. Conduct background checks and verify references for selected candidates.

7. Provide guidance and support to job seekers regarding resume writing, interview preparation, and career development.

8. Stay updated on labor market trends, industry requirements, and changes in employment laws and regulations.

9. Maintain accurate records of job placements, applicant information, and client interactions.

10. Handle administrative tasks, such as preparing contracts, maintaining fee schedules, and processing payments.

11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the employment agency industry.

12. Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, job seekers, and other stakeholders in the employment ecosystem.

13. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.

14. CEO may assign other relevant duties.

Requirements:

1. NJ employment agent license. If you do not have a license, you may work under the CEO for one year with a conditional license. Within that period, you must pass the NJ employment agent license examination to continue the job.

2. A high school diploma is the minimum. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

3. Proven experience working in an employment agency or a similar recruitment role.

4. In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in New Jersey.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

6. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

7. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

8. Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

9. Familiarity with online job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels.

10. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in assessing applicant qualifications.

11. Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

12. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.

13. Willingness to adapt to changing industry trends and market demands.

14. Valid New Jersey driver's license and reliable transportation (if required to travel for client meetings or job fairs).
