Compensation Manager – Edison, NJ - $40 per hour

In this position you’ll design, manage, implement and communicate the company’s compensation program.

Responsibilities include:

Manager the design, administration, implementation and communication of compensation programs.

Develop and/or update comp policies and guidelines. Revised employee handbook as needed.

Collaborate with Director, Comp & Benefits, country Operation directors, legal, local payroll and tax services in non-US locations.

Develop and maintain classification systems

Oversee survey selection, budget, analysis of market benchmark data, trend info, and economic projections to ensure a competitive market position and internal equity.

Conduct high-level and complex job evaluations and analysis for planned reorgs, reviews and unique or special cases.

Review promotion requests, salary adjustments and salary offers for new hires and obtains approval from senior management.

Manage and serves as Administrator for Fusion Workforce Compensation Module, Kenexa Survey Management System and JDXpert tool.

Serve as backup Administrator for DocuSign and Liferay applications in the absence of the Compensation Analyst.

Complete employment statistics and salary surveys from Wage and Hour division of the Dept. of Labor for various states where the company has offices.

Respond to OFCCP cases relating to pay issues under legal review.

Conduct training and/or create quick reference guides and other tools/resources for comp courses and/or system enhancements.

Prepare presentations and reports for the Employee Benefits & Compensation Committee.

Ensure compliance with US regulatory, wage & labor policies.

Manage special projects.

Manage and mentor Associate Compensation Analyst

Interact professionally with other internal departments.

Requirements include:

Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business Administration or related field

4+ years of progressively responsible experience in HR, including management experience.

Certification preferred: PHR, or CCP or GRP

Strong statistical, operational, planning and reporting skills.

Practical knowledge of the interplay between compensation and talent acquisition and retention.

Must be able to educate managers on compensation processes and guidelines.

Must possess strong project management and communication skills.

Must have strong analytical, quantitative and problem resolution skills.

Must be technology savvy with strong MSOffice, Google, HRIS, survey systems and web-based models and products.

Fusion HCM or similar cloud based HRIS experience.

Knowledge of ATS – Taleo Enterprise Edition preferred.
