Overview

Location: Plainfield, Hillsborough, New Brunswick, Bridgewater, Mountainside, Springfield, and surrounding communities.

Must have an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Jersey

Responsibilities

Providing services in accordance with policies and procedures and regulations that define scope of practice

Prepares clinical and progress notes on the relevant and specialized nursing services he/she provides

Assisting the RN and/or physician in performing specialized duties related to end-of-life care

Assisting the RN in carrying out the plan of care

Preparing equipment and materials for treatment, adhering to aseptic techniques as required

Assisting the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques as required

Assessing patient/family response to care

Insuring communication of information to appropriate team members

Qualifications

New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, currently active and in good standing

Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are strict requirements

Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
