This position involves working closely with both patients and dental professionals to deliver exceptional hygiene services in a friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and preventative treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Assess and record patients' oral health, medical histories, BP and concerns.
Take digital X-rays.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventative care.
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and provide supportive treatment options.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment following infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
Collaborate with dentists and the rest of the dental team to ensure optimal patient care thru individualized patient care plans.
Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygienist license in NJ.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and promoting oral health education.
Experience with Dentrix is preferred.
