We are an upscale dental office seeking an experienced and talented Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone with at least two years of dental experience and Dental Assistant Certification or RDA License. The position would be full time, Monday- Thursday 8:30am-6pm and Fridays 7:30am-3pm, with possible Saturdays. Candidate must be willing to commute to either location, in Warren, NJ and Bedminster, NJ. Competitive wage and benefits packages are available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities for Dental Assistant
Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested
Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies
Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed
Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs
Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials
Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist
Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
Qualifications for Dental Assistant
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Current CPR certification preferred
Radiology and Dental Assistant certification required/ RDA preferred
1-2 years of experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
