Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety, maintaining inventory control, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in training and developing team members while ensuring that all operational standards are met.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.

Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a positive work environment.

Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage food costs effectively.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.

Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.

Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to enhance the dining experience.

Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality control.

Conduct interviews and hire new staff as needed to maintain adequate staffing levels.

Develop budgets and manage financial aspects of the restaurant, including cost control strategies.

Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a hospitable atmosphere.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.

Familiarity with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.

Experience with fine dining, casual dining, quick service, or fast food environments is preferred.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers alike.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality management.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Previous experience in training & development of staff is highly desirable.
