CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Our client is a well-established and highly respected organization in the healthcare product and services industry. They are actively looking to bring on a new Supply & Services Procurement Manager.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$50/hr - $55/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Supply & Services Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement and sourcing, maintaining vendor relationships, including tracking and analysis. The ideal candidate for this position is a hard worker, multi-tasker, organized, and dedicated to meeting deadlines, and has experience taking on management duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPPLY & SERVICES PROCUREMENT MANAGER:

Follow the Global Procurement governance in all projects, adhering to GPPM (Global Procurement Policy Manual). Follow the CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) process.

Keep close contact and develop strong partnerships with category stakeholders to better understand the business needs.

Engage senior leaders when there is a need to escalate any issues.

Manage ethical and professional relationships with vendors.

Support global and regional initiatives identified in the annual goal alignment.

Support procurement risk assessment and risk mitigation plans.

Support to evaluate and recommend technologies or practices based on the business priorities. Follow Stakeholder engagement best practices to better understand the business needs and align on resources and priorities.

Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with key vendors. They will ensure compliance with contractual terms, monitor supplier performance, and resolve any issues.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and sustainability initiatives. Support to evaluate and recommend technologies or practices based on the business priorities.

Stay updated with industry developments and best practices to effectively manage the organization's energy procurement strategy.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE SUPPLY & SERVICES PROCUREMENT MANAGER:

5 - 10 years of experience in the supply chain.

Minimum of 5 years in procurement and/or supply chain in a manufacturing facility.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Strong project management skills for equipment/technology purchases (Capital Management) as well as real estate procurement.

Strong business analysis experience. Using business tools and information systems when solving problems and making decisions. Using data to support recommendations.

Possess a good understanding of capital buying procedures.

Negotiation skills. Planning and anticipation. Demonstrates professionalism in all business settings.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE SUPPLY & SERVICES PROCUREMENT MANAGER:

Advanced Excel experience.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Finance, or a related field, is required.
