Our client is a rapidly growing organization in the retail and e-commerce space looking to add a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for an experienced professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they and work independently.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$33 – $35/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Senior Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills. Looking for 3-5 years experience with month-end close, accruals, fixed assets, etc. Ideal Senior Accountant candidate should be hard working, and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
Prepare financial analyses and reports
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Perform input, maintenance, and review of fixed assets
Experience and/or exposure to an M&A is a big plus
Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast for possibly a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong excel skills
ERP system
Leadership, communication, and financial analysis on an accounting team all a big plus
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or related field is required
