CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a real estate management organization looking to add a payroll specialist. This company is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$28/hr - $30/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Applicants for the Payroll Specialist role must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience with full-cycle payroll processing. Experience in assisting with payroll accounting and working with an Accounting team is a huge plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST:
Analyzing all aspects of the company’s payroll and benefits processes.
Maintaining accurate records for internal and external purposes.
Heavy data entry and analysis.
Checking timesheets for accuracy.
Reporting and analysis for multiple departments.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Excel skills.
Payroll processing and experience with union and non-union payroll.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST:
Understanding of how the accounting processes connect with the Payroll department.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree and/or equivalent experience are required.
Bachelor's degree is a plus.
