An exciting company is searching for a Data Entry Clerk to join their team and have the opportunity for career growth. As the Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and finance support functions, especially correctly entering large volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases. Located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, this Data Entry Clerk role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity.Key responsibilities
Compiling and sorting data for computer entry; establishing entry priorities
Following data program techniques and procedures to maintain data entry requirements
Handling materials containing highly confidential information
Providing support for data entry and additional administrative tasks
Reviewing customer and account source documents for deficiencies
Executing additional tasks as required
Continuing operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with higher level functionality in Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Comprehensive knowledge of data entry
Practices experience
Adeptness in Eletronic Format
Supervising experience
Experience with Independent Judgment
Procedures experience
Candidate must meet a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Basic knowledge in computer software programs and office equipment
