Home Health Aide

Priority Group Services, a leading home care provider in New Jersey, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes. In this role, you'll help improve patients' quality of life by offering essential support and companionship in a comfortable, familiar setting. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 6 months of experience as an HHA or in a related caregiving role. Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification is required. A strong sense of compassion, patience, and reliability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and families. Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols effectively. Care for a 59-year-old patient, assisting with daily tasks and ensuring overall well-being. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Ensure safe mobility and transfers, including wheelchair assistance, while maintaining patient comfort and security. Prepare and serve balanced meals, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences. Perform light housekeeping duties to keep the environment clean, safe, and organized. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a warm and encouraging atmosphere. Keep accurate records of patient care activities and promptly report any concerns when necessary.
