Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The position involves overseeing the month-end close process, preparing monthly financial reports, and supporting internal and external financial audits.Responsibilities: Responsible for month-end close process including preparation and/or review of all journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all monthly financial data and in accordance with US GAAP Prepare monthly financial reporting package, including variance analysis Support internal and external financial reporting Conduct daily cash reconciliations Update weekly cash inflows/outflows and reconcile bank/general ledger Work closely with other departments to develop appropriate monthly accruals Document/prepare process maps for all procedures and processes of the subsidiary accounting operations Implement improved processes and controls for all aspects of the subsidiary’s accounting operations to enhance efficiency and financial controls and align with corporate Manage state sales tax calculations and payment remittances Assist with general ledger migration to ERP system used by corporate Assist with year-end audits Special projects and ad-hoc projects requests, as neededRequirements CPA License required 8+ years of accounting experience required, including experience managing day to day accounting operations Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
