What does an Android & iOS Developer do?As an Android and iOS Developer / Engineer with 5+ years of Software Development experience, you will contribute to the design, implementation and support of our product features / functionality. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to design and build best-in-class experiences for our customers. You will partner with product and engineering leads to scope, architect and execute on key features/enhancements that will reshape how our users use our products. Roles & Responsibilities Add new features, resolve bugs, and refactor / improve the code base. Identify technical requirements in product meetings and assist the business team with realistic project planning and feature development. Translate product requirements into functional, maintainable, extensible software that is in-line with company objectives. Collaborate with server developers / engineers to determine the best way to maintain low response times as new features are designed. Work with colleagues to develop test plans and strategies. Superior problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities. Flexible and self driven with a collaborative approach to problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good working knowledge with GIT and TFS version control tools.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education At least 3 years of Android development with Kotlin. At least 3 years of iOS development with Swift. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Strong knowledge of Java. Experience with Android emulators. Comfortable writing robust unit tests, including edge cases, usability and reliability. Experience working in high performance Agile Scrum teams. Knowledge on Flutter, React native, Apache Cordova, NodeJS, Xamarin is added advantage. Experience working with international and remote teams. Knowledge with building accessible software - ADA etc is added advantage. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field.
