Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with a strong background in handling deductions for a long-term contract opportunity in Bergen County, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts receivable operations, managing deductions, and maintaining the financial health of the company. You'll be part of a dedicated finance team, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:-Manage and process accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate billing.-Investigate and resolve deductions and discrepancies, working closely with customer service and sales departments to address and prevent future occurrences.-Utilize SAP software to manage AR records, generate reports, and analyze data for better financial decision-making.-Collaborate with the finance team to develop strategies to reduce the overall deductions and improve the efficiency of the AR process.-Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.-Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and inquiries related to accounts receivable promptly and professionally.-Contribute to the continuous improvement of the AR process, recommending and implementing enhancements to policies and procedures.Requirements Requirements:-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.-A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, with a strong focus on deductions management.-Proficient in SAP, with demonstrated experience in utilizing SAP for financial operations.-Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.-Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
