This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with foundational Salesforce knowledge eager to build expertise under the guidance of experienced developers and contribute to a meaningful mission.The opportunityReporting to the IT Development Manager, you will play an integral role in supporting and maintaining Salesforce solutions that underpin critical business processes. You will be involved in ongoing business support activities as well as important Salesforce projects and change requests. You will join a close-knit team, balancing independent work with collaboration, quickly learning business processes, and adapting to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.What’s on offerThis is a new full-time, permanent position. It offers 1-2 days per week in the Bella Vista office and the rest from home, therefore you will need to be based in Sydney. Key responsibilitiesSupport the design, development, and maintenance of custom Salesforce solutions and business processes.Participate in code reviews, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and document technical processes.Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and assist with data migration and integration tasks.Provide troubleshooting for Salesforce issues and escalate complex problems when needed.Collaborate closely with the Salesforce team and wider IT department, sharing knowledge and supporting team goals.What we’re looking forA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).1-2 years’ experience developing or configuring Salesforce, with familiarity in objects, workflows, Process Builder, and basic Apex/Visualforce knowledge.Exposure to data migration and integration concepts.Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive team environment.Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proactive and adaptable, comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving business.Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification (or working toward it) is a bonus.Why choose SilverchainEveryone at Silverchain, from our care teams to leadership, plays a vital role in delivering Best Care.
