DescriptionServes as initial intake associate responsible for providing students and visitors with appropriate information to successfully enroll in college programs.Examples of Duties

Provides excellent customer service to all visitors, students, faculty, and staff

Greets prospective students and visitors upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Assists in guiding visitors to their scheduled appointments, tours or on-campus events

Verifies and updates student information in Colleague

Answers general inquiries about admissions, academic programs, campus resources, and application procedures

Assists students in scheduling virtual academic advising, testing, and registration appointments

Provides support in scanning and linking all incoming student records

Provides assistance with logging unofficial transcripts as needed

Develops weekly visitation reports

Assists students with accessing the college’s online portal and mobile app (Atlantic Cape Connect)

Performs password resets including but not limited to the college’s online portal for students and student email

Provides detailed information about the college, admissions process, campus facilities, and available resources

Assists the Division of Student Affairs with setup and coordination of campus tours, open houses, and admissions events

Provides support for events, including managing registration, directing guests, and facilitating smooth operations

Performs general office duties including but not limited to processing mail, data entry, answering phone and reporting

Performs related duties as assigned

Typical QualificationsEducation:

High School diploma

Associate’s degree preferred

Experience:

Customer Service experience

Competencies and Skills:

Computer skills to include Microsoft Office products

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Knowledge of Ellucian’s Colleague management information system a plus
