ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a
PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) program in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Atlantic City, NJ. ASRC Federal offers an excellent benefits package that includes a matching 401k, tuition reimbursement and certification reimbursement.This position will work specifically on the TFDM project performing as the PostgreSQL Maintenance Database Administrator with the following functions:- Ability to work with previously designed and installed database(s)
- Ability to work in test or production environments to include installation, modification and upgrades
- Ability to analyze and study an existing database structure with the purpose of finding problems (troubleshooting), offer solution/fixes and implement them
- Ability to validate the output of databases against requirements
- Perform adaptation/software analysis and implements adaptation changes/new functionality.
- Perform peer/code reviews.
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years related database experience, OR
- Associates Degree in related field of study with a minimum of 8 years related database experience, OR
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study with a minimum of 5 years related database experience.
- PostgreSQL (maintenance experience)
- Ability to work with previously designed and installed database(s)
- Ability to work in test or production environments to include installation, modification and upgrades
- Ability to analyze and study an existing database structure with the purpose of finding problems (troubleshooting), offer solution/fixes and implement them
- Ability to validate the output of databases against requirements
- Oracle databases at or beyond V12 including Oracle database management tools
- Developing Oracle relational databases.
