Overview:We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Information Technology Technician to provide comprehensive onsite technical support across a diverse campus environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of IT support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional services across hardware, software, networking, and audiovisual (AV) technologies. This role requires a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates effectively with team members, and ensures a seamless technology experience for end users.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-User Support:Provide frontline support for faculty, staff, and students across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and classroom AV equipment.Respond to incidents, service requests, and escalations in a timely manner through the ITSM ticketing system.Assist with account management, password resets, software installations, and configuration tasks.Technical Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across multiple platforms.Support Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and enterprise applications.Provide AV support for conferencing tools, classroom technologies, and event setups.System & Equipment Maintenance:Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, imaging tools, and peripheral equipment.Ensure timely patching, updates, and security compliance for all supported devices.Document troubleshooting steps, fixes, and knowledge base content to support continuous improvement.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with senior technicians, network administrators, and system engineers on escalated issues.Communicate technical solutions clearly and professionally to non-technical users.Contribute to team meetings, project initiatives, and campus-wide IT support efforts.
