We are expanding our Occupational Therapy team and would love to welcome experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapists eager to be part of a multidisciplinary team and make a difference.  You’ll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the following areas (depending on where you live) Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Central Coast and surrounding areas.  We will provide you with a bucket load of structured supervision, mentoring and CPD opportunities. If you are excited about working across the lifespan with physical disability, paediatrics, adults, psychosocial conditions, and neurodevelopmental conditions, we are the team for you! Responsibilities will include:Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic servicesAssess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessmentsInterpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participantProvide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goalsMentor and nurture early career cliniciansMaintain awareness of current legislation to ensure complianceWhat's in it for you?As you support many, we support you.
