We have an exciting opportunity for a Journalist to join our Central Coast team, covering stories across the region. From community issues and local council matters to extreme weather, breaking news, and sport, no two days are the same. You’ll work alongside experienced camera operators to craft compelling stories for the NBN News bulletin, website, and social media.ResponsibilitiesDay to day you will: Identify and react to breaking news, issues and trends with smart and engaging ideas within local, state, national and international sport all while maintaining journalistic integrityStay across local news and sport, monitoring community groups and key stakeholdersConduct in-person and live interviewsCollaborate with producers to script and edit stories, producing multiple packages, VOs, and VOSOTs dailyBuild a strong network of contacts across news and sportReport across various platforms, including TV, radio, and social media
