Electrical Apprentice

Assist with routine electrical maintenance of the Processing plant/Underground mine and site equipment to the standards required as per the Electrical and Mining Regulations and guidelines under the guidance and instruction of the Process Maintenance Electrical Supervisor/UG Electrical Superintendent.Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesCarries out routine electrical maintenance of the Processing plant and the Underground mine, as well as all site equipment as directed.Assists with fault finding and repairs of Processing/Underground mine plant and equipmentActively provides suggestions and alternatives for improvements to maintenance and operational processes.Undertakes all requirements of the training programme to attain the necessary electrical qualifications.Comply with all host company and Oceana Gold policy during off site secondments.Accurately records all fault and repair information into the computerised maintenance management system to ensure all future planning can be improved.
