We value everyone’s ideas and perspectives and believe that our team’s diversity is critical to our ability to deliver exceptional work products and experiences. POSITION PURPOSE – SENIOR MANAGER OF ANALYTICSVail Resorts is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Advance Commitment Analytics . The team leverages Vail Resorts’ proprietary data related to the Season Pass business (Epic Pass) to generate insights about guest behavior that drive value for the enterprise. The team informs strategic decisions across the company and is a key partner to many stakeholders, including Pass Marketing and Finance. This role is responsible for strategic and financial analyses to support Pass growth strategies (both domestic and international), forecasting, and performance insights.This individual should have a proven track record as a high potential talent demonstrating leadership, drive, business acumen, and emotional intelligence. This is a highly visible analytical role and relationship building will be a key component of success. The position requires the ability to analyze data and provide strategic insights with actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner to cross-functional stakeholders. Strong presentation skills and an aptitude for condensing large amounts of data into a meaningful story are critical.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

[Strategy Development] Work with leadership to define the strategic priorities for the Pass business. This includes identifying key areas of growth, sizing opportunities, and creating processes to implement initiatives.

[Analysis & Reporting] Generate in-depth analyses and reports to formulate insights on guest motivators, behavioral drivers, and business actions/initiatives that are impacting decision making.

[Presentation] Communicate conclusions, implications, and recommendations in a clear, concise fashion. Advise and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive more effective strategies and decisions. Advocate for data-driven answers.

[Prioritization] Prioritize projects to balance the support of broad initiatives, recurrent reporting, and proactive analysis with direct ad-hoc requests from the Executive Committee and other stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Very strong quantitative and analytic skills with demonstrated success in analytical or financial roles – preferred 4-5 years previous experience in consulting, marketing analytics, direct marketing, investment banking, financial analysis or another similar field.

Preferred: Masters or MBA in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics, with a focus on quantitative analysis.

Proven experience communicating actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to business stakeholders.

Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Strong project management skills are essential. Must be able to independently own and drive multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functionally within the organization.

Demonstrated success working with large data sets; experience with analytic tools/software such as Tableau and similar programs preferred; experience with data processing (SQL) also a plus.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) required.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $116,040.30 - $143,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.Job Benefits
