Job Description
Responsibilities- Works with BI Analysts to understand customer needs.
- Collects, analyzes, and shares data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results.
- Utilizes database and web application technologies to design, develop, and evaluate innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports.
- Perform data conversions, imports, and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems
- Merge BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications
- Enhance the performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and indexes
- Document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations
- Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software
- Participate in workstream planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of Microsoft BI solutions. Also, in project management estimation process
- Work with BI Data Analytics and customers to understand customer needs and create ad hoc reports to support timely business decisions and project work
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translates these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions
- Conduct research, make recommendations on BI products & services and maintain interface with vendors
- Maintain the quality of data and provide input to the development of data/information quality metrics.
Qualifications
Technical Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or related field
- 6 - 8 years of technical expertise (MSSQL)
- At least, for 6 years of BI Report development (MSSQL BI, SSIS, SSAS): ETL design& development, OLAP Design & Development, Report Development
- Hands on experience supporting Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication along with strong analytical, problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Related technical (Microsoft BI Data Engineer): 6 years (Required)
- Related technical (Microsoft SSAS Engineer): 4 years (Required)
- Design and develop Multi-dimensional & Tabular models.(Required Skill)
- Proficient in MDX & DAX(Required Skill)
- Database administration: 8 years (Required).
- Bilingual (Korean & English) Preferred but Not Required
- IBM MQ experience Preferred, but Not Required
- Dashboards and other BI solutions using Tableau & Power BI Preferred, but Not Required
