Our ever-expanding business spans across all things entertainment, from TV, audio, digital imaging & professional products, to music, film, gaming and more!Our Client, Sony Australia, is seeking a dynamic and organized Events and Community Coordinator to join our team. This role involves working closely with professional photographers, content creators and film makers, and ensuring the successful planning and execution of events that engage and inspire our community across Australia and New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for creating seamless and impactful experiences.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and Execution:Plan, coordinate, and execute events, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, equipment setup, and guest lists.Community Engagement:Collaborate with photographers and community members to create engaging and meaningful experiences.Act as a primary point of contact for community stakeholders, fostering strong and positive relationships.Project Management:Develop and maintain event/project timelines and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met.Anticipate challenges and implement solutions to ensure the smooth execution of events.Marketing and Communication:Write and edit event-related content, including invitations, promotional materials, website materials, marketing emails, and post-event reports.Provide regular updates to team members, stakeholders, and leadership on event progress.Collaboration and Teamwork:Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance community engagement and event success.Your previous extensive experience as an Event Manager will be key for you to hit the ground running in this role. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:Proven experience in events management or a related field (preferred).Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in managing budgets and timelines effectively.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.Ability to apply creative thinking for project and initiative development.An understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (ideal).An understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop (ideal)If you're genuinely excited about this opportunity at Sony, please Apply Now and let us know why you want to join the team.
