Senior Storage System Administrator

The role on offer will see you working with the local Storage & Backup operations team on our fleet of around NetApp storage, Backup tool like Rubrik/Veritas NetBackup and will look at maintaining overall environment health, facilitating complex changes, and getting involved in trouble shooting for the Storage and Backup infrastructure environments.What you will be doing: Installing, configuring, implementing and maintaining Storage devices like NetApp Working on large, complex systems that require skill in multiple technical environments Monitoring usage and tuning systems for optimum performance Administering, installing and configuring, maintenance and patching of NetApp storage systemsWhat you bring: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Storage Administration. Excellent knowledge of NetApp storage. Backup technology experience, configuration and maintenance of Veritas & Rubrik backup appliances. Experience with configuration and maintenance of NetApp clusters (AFF300 & AFF400) and underlying storage technologies such as ONTAP, SnapCenter, Flexvol, etc. Hands-on VMware virtualisation and/or cloud experience. Excellent knowledge of vSphere, experience with ESXi, vCenter and vMotion. Excellent knowledge of best practice VMware deployment techniques.A bonus if you have experience in the following areas: Ansible. OpenShift/Kubernetes.
