 Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospice Executive Director to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospice agency in Santa Fe, NM. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this individual will ensure efficient use of resources, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient-centered care. This is a key leadership role with full authority to implement policies and manage staff in alignment with the agency’s mission and goals.Key Responsibilities:Provide strong leadership and oversight of daily agency operationsEnsure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and other regulatory standardsDelegate tasks effectively to supervisory and administrative personnelOversee program planning, supervision, evaluation, and quality improvement initiativesDevelop, implement, and monitor administrative policies and proceduresEstablish staffing plans and hire personnel in collaboration with the VP of OperationsManage personnel functions, including performance, scheduling, and policy adherenceMaintain contracts with external providers and ensure compliance with termsPromote a culture of professionalism, respect, and exceptional serviceMaintain confidentiality and adhere to a high standard of integrityAttend staff meetings, trainings, and other required programsPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:RN license and nursing degree strongly preferredMinimum Associate’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of relevant healthcare experience, with 3+ years in a hospice or home health leadership roleSolid understanding of healthcare operations, policies, and reimbursement proceduresProven ability to manage and motivate diverse teamsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsMust have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance—or access to public transitWhy Join Us?
