Franklin Pierce University Women’s Hockey – Graduate Assistant Coach The Franklin Pierce University Women’s Ice Hockey program is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach. The Graduate Assistant position is a two year position and includes tuition remission along with a stipend of $8,000 annually.Housing is not included, but is available on-campus for $500/month. Acceptance of the position is contingent upon successful admission into the University’s Graduate School. Position set to begin 6/1/24 but can be flexible . First Grad Term begins 8/26/24. To learn more about Franklin Pierce University’s Graduate offerings, you may visit www.franklinpierce.edu Major responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: -On and Off campus recruiting of qualified student athletes -Assist with Fundraising activities -Assist with practice planning and implementation -Primary on-ice focus with team’s defensemen and goaltenders, but will work with all positions -Monitoring of academics and study halls -Assist with team travel and game day operations, as well as scheduling, organizing, and general office work -Team Social Media/Video program -Adherence to all NCAA rules and regulations Qualifications:-Bachelors Degree required
Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA or Junior playing experiencerequired
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level players
