Job Description:
The MES Engineer will support the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting, supporting manufacturing operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and experience working in regulated environments, with moderate supervision and growing autonomy.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience preferred.Hands-on experience with MES systems in manufacturing (e.g., Emerson Synced, Werum Client-X, Siemens OpsCenter, etc.).Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and process automation systems.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for equipment and control systems.Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., OSIsoft PI).Ability to read and analyze control system code.Experience supporting deviation investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and CAPA activities.Familiarity with GMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments (preferred).Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
