Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. The selected candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that encompass both accounting and human resources tasks.Responsibilities: Execute and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions Handle and process payroll and benefits for the workforce Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records Utilize accounting software systems effectively for financial management Maintain and update the general ledger as required Assist with HR duties, including the onboarding process and benefits administration Manage and process grants accurately and efficientlyRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential A comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is needed Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial Mastery in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary Ability to handle Billing Functions is a must Knowledge of Benefits Payroll is required Understanding of General Ledger procedures is important Skill in Account ReconciliationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
