Full Time Tug Engineer Port Botany

Smit Lamnalco is seeking expressions of interest from  qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Engineers for our Port Botany Towage operations. We are looking for pro-active and diligent crew to join our growing fleet on a full time basis. As a crew of three you will report to the Contract Manager and Master onboard the vessel.You will:Be responsible for the safe operation of the vessels and engines, generators and associated machinery and equipment. Ensure that all machinery (deck and engine) is maintained to operational standards at all times. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.Carry out routine maintenance and repairs as and when required, and to take responsibility for ensuring that the Planned Maintenance System is carried out onboard vessels. Liaise and coordinate with technical superintendent all engineering activities resulting from vessel surveys defects, inspection outcomes and audit deficiencies.Stay up to date on company training and be responsible for training new employees.
