RiverMead is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team. As a Registered Nurse (RN/LPN), you can work in a supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality nursing care to our residents.RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service, Lifecare Community located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. As a full-service community, we offer a wide variety of services and amenities to the residents we serve. We offer our staff competitive wages and excellent benefits, including a retirement savings plan with a 6% match, a very generous paid time off program as well as several shift differentials. 2nd shift = $2.50 per hour3rd shift = $3.50 per hourWeekends = $1.50 per hour (Friday 5PM-Sunday midnight)ResponsibilitiesProvides and directs nursing care to assisted living residents during the shift, based on RiverMead policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process.

Provides services requiring nursing skill, per the plan of care and physician's orders, and makes the resident's initial assessment. Demonstrates competency in all skills required.

Assesses and regularly reassesses the nursing needs of the resident; initiates, develops, implements, and makes necessary revisions to the resident's plan of care in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, Neighborhood Coordinators, other departments, resident, and resident's family. Assesses the resident's continual care needs.

Recommends and initiates diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing procedures appropriate to the resident's care and safety. In cooperation with the resident's physician, referrals to other disciplines are made as indicated by the resident's needs.

Performs therapeutic procedures such as administration of medications, immunizations, wound care, and managing infection.

Qualifications

Degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing.

Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of New Hampshire

Current CPR certification required.
