The Australian Financial Review is seeking a wealth reporter with a focus on content that informs and educates retail investors.Day to day you will:Keep up to date with the latest movements and trends in public and private markets, with a particular focus on developments that are important to retail investorsRelay and explain those developments to our discerning audience via lively and informative stories furnished with expert commentary, data and case studiesUse data sets, analysts reports and personal contacts to generate story ideas and find compelling ways to tell those storiesExplain how developments in politics, economics and markets affect retail investors while maintaining a long list of off-diary story ideas and an equally long list of contacts within the financial advice, investment and shareholder communities.Develop an unparalleled understanding of how Australians invest at each stage of their lives, and how we can better serve their needsMeet strict deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment
