The 9Predict data science team develops, builds and delivers data science products to provide audience forecasting and solutions to business problems. Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data, developing and implementing data science models, and communicating findings to stakeholders. We push the envelope in what is possible and work on new and novel implementations of data science techniques.Major area of focus for the team is forecasting audiences across all of Nine’s assets (Metro TV, Regional TV, 9NOW and other channels) to more effectively monetise & yield manage commercial ad inventory.Role Responsibilities:Analyse large and complex data sets to uncover insights and trends.Develop predictive models and algorithms.Collaborate with other data scientists and analysts to design and implement innovative solutions that support business objectives.Implement and maintain data pipelines and workflows.Conduct data cleaning, transformation, and validation.Create and present clear and concise reports, visualisations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.Use data visualisation tools to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.Employee Responsibilities:Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data science and media analytics.Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.Share knowledge and insights with team members.Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical guidelines in all data-related activities.
