We are currently seeking to hire a Welder II to join our team. The Welder II plays a critical role within our fast-paced Sheetmetal shop environment, focusing on ensuring the on-time delivery of parts. We are looking for an individual who embodies a strong work ethic, a thirst for learning, and a proactive attitude towards understanding manufacturing processes. This position requires collaboration within a team setting, where accountability for tasks is essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in welding various materials such as carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, and possess moderate blueprint reading skills. Additionally, they should have experience in applying different types of welds including TIG, MIG, and spot welding techniques across a range of material thicknesses, from .050” to .250”. Experience with operating a laser welding machine is also desirable.
