We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Vinyl Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Sheet Vinyl Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and refinishing floors according to industry standards and customer specifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our clients by delivering outstanding workmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Occasionally Measure and assess job sites to determine material requirements and installation methods
Prepare subfloors, including leveling, cleaning, and applying moisture barriers as needed
Install underlayment flooring using various techniques such as stapling and gluing
Cut and trim flooring materials to fit around obstacles, vents, and doorways
Repair and replace damaged or worn hardwood flooring as necessary
Inspect finished installations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
Clean up job sites and remove debris upon completion of installations
Communicate effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns throughout the installation process
Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good condition
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sheet Vinyl Flooring Installer, preferably in a professional setting
Strong knowledge of Sheet Vinyl flooring materials, products, and installation techniques
Ability to read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and specifications
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Part Time hourly position starting at $22 per hour depending on your experience. Residential/Commercial experience installing sheet vinyl required. Please have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Showrooms.
Company provides tools/equipment and company van/s to and from the job sites.
