Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Handy Person to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing various items in customers' homes. This position provides an opportunity to demonstrate your abilities in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
Carry out a wide range of handyman services for homeowners, vacation rentals, property management companies, and commercial clients.
Fulfill handyman tasks such as painting, general repairs, installations, door and window replacements, deck repairs, gutter maintenance, power washing, and LVT flooring installations.
Prepare and paint surfaces like drywall, doors, trim, decks, and railings.
Apply paint using cutting in, rolling, and various brush techniques for a professional finish.
Handle minor plumbing and electrical repairs as part of home handyman duties.
Repair or replace locks, screens, light bulbs, window blinds, and more.
Complete maintenance and repair tasks promptly.
Order and replace necessary materials for each job after approval from the company owner.
Perform additional assigned duties.
Keep track of jobs, hours, billing, and materials for client accounts and invoicing.
Requirements:
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality work.
Proficient in finish carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical work, and interior painting.
Ability to use an iPad or phone for work orders.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic with punctuality, dependability, and flexibility.
Positive, energetic, and customer service-oriented.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel daily within the Lakes Region.
Must provide own tools.
Capable of meeting physical demands, including lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, reaching, and other physical activities. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and work in various environmental conditions.
Important Details:
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Pay: Depending on experience
Location: Travel to properties mainly in the Lakes Region area
