Overview:
We are seeking a Dedicated and Detail-Oriented Service Writer / Parts Rep to join our Automotive Service Team. The ideal Candidate will act as a Liaison between Customers, Insurance Companies, Vendors, Service Technicians and other Team Members, ensuring that all Automotive/RV Repair needs are Accurately Communicated and Addressed. This role requires Strong Organizational Skills, a Passion for the Automotive/RV Industry, and the Ability to Provide Exceptional Customer Service.
Duties:
Greet Customers and Assess their Automotive Service needs.
Document Customer Concerns and Vehicle Issues Accurately.
Prepare Detailed Service Estimates and Explain Services to Customers.
Coordinate with Service Technicians to Ensure Timely Completion of Repairs.
Schedule Appointments and Manage the Workflow of the Service Department.
Follow up with Customers regarding their Vehicle Status and any Additional Services Needed.
Maintain Accurate Records of Services Performed and Parts Used.
Provide Information on Warranties, Service Contracts, and Promotions.
Ensure a Clean and Organized Workspace for both Customers and Staff.
Experience:
Previous Experience in Service Writing or a similar role within the Automotive/RV Industry is preferred.
Familiarity with Auto Body Repair, Automotive Repair Processes, Batteries, and Tire Services is a plus.
Knowledge of RV Components; Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Appliances, Air Brakes, Shocks, Struts, and a General Mechanical Knowledge will be beneficial.
Excellent Communication Skills are required to effectively interact with Customers, Insurance Companies, Vendors and Team Members.
Ability to work in a Fast-Paced Environment while Maintaining Attention to Detail.
Proficiency in using Computer Systems for Parts Ordering, Documentation, Scheduling and Filing.

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 24 to 28 hours per week
Shift: 4 to 8 hour shifts
Work Days: Monday thru Friday, and Occasional Saturdays
