Irving Energy is currently hiring Propane Heating Service Technician for Rochester, NH
This role is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our customers through troubleshooting and performing diagnostic activities in regards to service equipment within established policies and procedures.
Duties include:
Installations and maintenance of oil and propane fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters and oil tanks.
Fix problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs.
Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely.
Foster good customer relations by explaining to customers the service work performed.
Complete appropriate daily paper work for each service call.
Maintain daily and yearly inventory.
Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.
Qualifications:
NH Gas Fitters license.
Ability to install various types of heating equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is required.
Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills; attention to detail and strong customer service.
Decision making skills are require
Previous heating technician experience preferred.
