Accurate Overhead Doors is actively seeking a RELIABLE and EXPERIENCED Garage Door Lead Technician/Installer to help build our team. We are in search of a candidate who not only has exceptional technical skills but also excels in customer service and professionalism, has a strong sense of responsibility and takes immense pride in delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining both residential and commercial garage doors and openers. This Lead Technician/Installer will be proficient with sectional doors, rollup sheet doors, roll steel, trolley and side mount motors, possess the physical strength to lift 75+ pounds and have the flexibility to work independently or as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Proven experience as a garage door technician/installer (minimum 2+ years required).

Possess an exceptional work ethic

Strong knowledge of garage door systems, including springs, tracks openers, tracks, rollers and cables etc.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair garage doors and openers, addressing issues such as broken springs, damaged panels, faulty

openers, misaligned tracks, and other mechanical failures.

Perform routine maintenance services including lubrication, adjustments, and inspections to ensure proper function and safety

Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.

Ensure that all work is completed safely and with minimal disruption to the customer.

Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used, labor hours, and any other relevant information.

Submit invoices in a timely manner.

Must provide your own tools and equipment for installation and repairs.

Willingness to learn and teach other members of the team

Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues, presenting solutions, and answering any questions the customer may

have.

Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.

Ensure customers are satisfied with completed work.

Valid driver’s license/reliable vehicle and clean driving record.

A strong attendance record
