We are in need of a skilled Maintenance Technician for our 55+ Mobile Home Community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing community buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, who enjoys meeting new people, avoids drama, and can stay productive without constant supervision. Duties:
- Landscaping and plowing
- Carpentry and painting
- Handling routine work orders
- Keeping community buildings and grounds clean and tidy
- Troubleshooting issues with vehicles, tools, equipment, and systems
- Performing minor repairs and routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, and systems
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Communicating effectively and efficiently
Experience:
The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Experience in communicating and obtaining vendor estimates
- Ability to read and basic mathematical skills
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Ability to maintain and repair equipment
- General computer and cell phone skills
