We are seeking an experienced carpenter with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an active construction environment.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 -8 years of verifiable carpentry experience, thorough knowledge of rough, finish carpentry, and all trades associated with residential construction OSHA 10 Card

2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, shop drawings, and submittals.

3. Candidate must have all their own hand tools and power tools.

4. The Candidate must have reliable transportation (truck preferred) and a valid driver's license.

5. Must have a high school diploma or GED.

6. Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers

7. Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

8. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

9. Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods

10. Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.

11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

12. Ability to clearly read and navigate Blueprints.

13. Ability to stand or walk over 75% of the time. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling may be required. Lifting up to 100 lbs. OSHA 10 card

14. Endurance and ability to visit the entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.

15. Job Responsibilities:

1. Comply with company and OSHA safety guidelines at all times.

2. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.

3. Perform carpentry tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship in the time allotted.

4. Hold themselves and all carpenters under their direction accountable for their work performance, actions, and appearance.

5. Responsible for producing projects in accordance with the plans and specifications.

6. Perform work in accordance with safety best practices.

7. Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.

8. Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.

9.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
