Seacoast Plumbing, Heating & Mechanical company is looking to hire a qualified estimator. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years estimating experience in the commercial/residential plumbing & heating industry, possess a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
Position Responsibilities:
Estimate job costs and submit proposals for review
Understand all processes of job from acquisition to fulfillment
Responsible for all estimating duties, including but not limited to bids, pricing and change orders
Attend pre-bid meetings and visit job sites
Secure pricing from vendors
Work closely with Project Managers, Operations and job Crew Leaders
Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
At least 5-7 years estimating experience in the commercial/residential industry
High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred but not necessary
High level of problem solving ability.
Superior communication and time management skills
Working knowledge of mechanical drawings, with the ability to read specifications and plans
Ability to handle a variety of duties with minimal supervision
