JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Energy Auditor/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful
candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed energy audits, preparing energy-saving recommendations,
providing accurate cost estimates for energy efficiency improvements and the successful managements of projects.
This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Responsible for developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the services provided by NAS. Will successfully
apply their understanding to addressing customer needs, improving customer journeys, and ensuring consistent
brand experiences for all NAS entities.
ENERGY AUDITS
Directly responsible for independently evaluating residential and commercial buildings' energy efficiency and
providing accurate estimates for insulation improvements. Will conduct site assessments, analyze current energy
usage, make recommendations of insulation solutions, and prepare detailed cost estimates for customers.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Directly responsible for successful oversight and coordination of all aspects of assigned insulation/weatherization
projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict
deadlines and within budget. Will manage resources, coordinate the efforts of various team members and third-party
contractors or consultants, and ensure project accountability and success.
REGULATORY & SAFETY COMPLIANCE
Responsible for ensuring that the company operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal
policies. Develops and implements a variety of compliance programs and strategies that mitigate risks, promote
ethical behavior, and maintain legal and regulatory compliance. Promotes and enforces safety practices to prevent
accidents, injuries, and damage to property.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the
work unit. Provide operational support for the company as required or requested by other appropriate supervisors
and/or administrators.
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE
Educational Background & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related
field or related field preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy auditing, energy management, or a related field.
Certifications:
Lead Paint RRP Certification (within 6 months of employment)
Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification (within 6 months of employment)
OSHA 30 Certification (within 6 months of employment)
Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or similar certification is preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Proficient in using energy auditing software and tools.
Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations related to insulation installation.
SKILLS
Familiarity with different types of insulation materials (e.g., fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose, rigid board) and
their respective applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Data analysis and interpretation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to lead a team and manage projects.
Time management and organizational skills.
Strong customer service and client management skills.
ABILITIES
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for travel to/from client sites.
