Located in Portsmouth's West End, our salon is renowned for its trendy atmosphere, professional staff, and top-notch services. We are dedicated to staying ahead of the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry, ensuring that our clients leave feeling confident and beautiful every time. We offer a stunning 9,000 square foot salon space, a full spa, medi-spa and barbershop.
Position: Commission-Based Hair Stylist
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, to clients based on their individual needs and preferences. Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer expert advice on hair care and styling techniques. Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairdressing to consistently deliver innovative and on-trend services. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to salon policies and standards of hygiene.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and exceptional service.
Requirements:
MUST have current clientele to bring with you - booking percentage expectations are 50% by 60 days, 80% by 6 months, 95% by 9 months.
Valid cosmetology license in the state of New Hampshire.
Proven experience as a hair stylist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with fellow stylists.
Passion for the beauty industry and dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
