Part-time Environmental Monitor
We are seeking a part-time environmental monitor to join our team for remediation projects at Dartmouth College. This role entails full-time work during periods of heavy activity and flexibility during downtimes when asbestos and other environmental remediation projects are not scheduled. Additionally, there is an option to travel to the Boston area for monitoring projects, providing opportunities to expand the scope of work.
The estimated annual need for full-time work in the Hanover area is approximately 60% of the year, with the potential for overtime to significantly increase income. We are looking for candidates who are available when needed, yet have other interests to pursue during off-peak periods.
Minimum requirements include computer literacy, ownership of a smartphone and laptop, and access to a reliable automobile. While some college education is preferred, a degree is not required.
Compensation is $35 per billable hour, with no medical benefits offered. Paid training will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
