IT Support Technician
Mostly NH and work from home
$35,000 - $45,000 a year
The clients we provide services to appreciate their IT support and are a pleasure to work with every day.
We are seeking a New Hampshire based IT Support Technician member to join our team!
This is currently a work from home position with the requirement to travel to clients when appropriate.
Recent IT graduates, veterans, and career changers are encouraged to apply.
This job does not require a degree. It requires the correct mindset, some skill, and the ability to learn. If you have a diploma or degree, great; however, this does not make a great IT person.
Responsibilities:
Provide day to day support of software, workstations, mobile devices, accessories, and printers.
Prioritize ticketing system flow.
Coordinating Support Sessions with Users.
Work with technology vendors to solve ticket issues.
Documenting each service ticket with detail.
Follow SOP per environment and escalation process.
Identify recurring or systematic issues.
Meet outlined KPI goals
Qualifications:
Excellent soft skills: Verbal and Written
Communication: Team Player & Collaborator
Excellent customer service
Quick, but not at the expense of accuracy.
Firewalls (VPN, NAT, QoS, VLAN)
Active Directory and Group Policy
Creation, Deletion, and Modification of user accounts and security/distribution groups.
Understanding of group policy and the ability to dissect, enable, disable created policies.
File Sharing: Understanding of file shares, file share permissions, and NTFS permissions.
Network Printers: Adding to PCs via direct IP and/or print server
VMWare / Hyper V: Understand virtualization, how it works and its purpose.
Any IT security skills you have (whether self taught or school) are a plus!
