Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant – Tax Credit Compliance & Service Coordinator to support our compliance team and resident services. This dual-role position ensures that our properties maintain compliance with all applicable housing regulations and that residents receive high-quality service coordination and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Credit Compliance Support:

Assist in processing and reviewing resident files for LIHTC and other affordable housing programs.

Perform income and asset verifications according to program guidelines.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance software and systems.

Help prepare for audits, inspections, and file reviews by regulatory agencies.

Support compliance training and communication with property staff.

Service Coordination:

Serve as a liaison between residents and community resources.

Assist residents with accessing supportive services, including healthcare, employment, education, and transportation.

Organize community events and resident engagement activities.

Maintain confidential case files and complete required reporting.

Build and maintain partnerships with local service providers.

Qualifications:

Required:

1–2 years of experience in affordable housing, property management, or compliance.

Knowledge of LIHTC or HUD regulations and compliance procedures.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar property management software.

Certification in Tax Credit Compliance (e.g., HCCP, C3P) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
